The Zeus group, is a long standing, UK based group playing OPF for a number of years, and recently transitioning to ARMA. They produced one of the best known mods for OFP, the ESP mod, which stands up there with the WGL (Wargames League) and the FDF (Finnish Defence Forces) mods. Just been trying out the 1.09 Beta patch for Arma. So here's my first impressions. Installation was simple for virgin 108 Arma. However, i did backup my whole Arma directory for recovery should i need it The first thing I noticed is how the animations now don't run on, when you hit the prone key, or take your finger off the run button. Animation stops immediately. And changing back to rifle from grenade, so more realistic. |

ARMA 1.09 beta patch is released. Improvements include " significantly smoother gameplay on Northern part of Sahrani (up to 100% increase in frame rate depending on scene, video settings and graphics card)", and i"mprovementin in AI", and "AntiCheat", get it here. |
